Year 2003: O2 XDA 1

In 2003, I bought my first PPC mobile phone: An O2 XDA 1 [specs], originally named HTC Wallaby and coming with WM PPC 2002. It is pretty basic, without much connectivity, but it did its job beautifully and robustly.

Later, when my MDA3 touchscreen broke, I did a comparison disassembly.

  • Robust and functional
Contra:
  • No WLAN
  • No Bluetooth
  • No camera
  • No GPS
Bugs:
  • Spontaneous turning on

A warm note: It fell down a million times and never broke.
